OMAH Library is proud to host a Discourse Class “Genesis of Design Method | Redefining Context – Fight for Architecture”.

This class tries to explore ways to fight for belief and love for architecture, starting from the discourse that everyone is unique and has their spesific problems, or “struggle for life”. Therefore, every individual innovates with strategies and tactics by contributing to the surrounding ecosystem. It brings out the genesis of a particular design method and personal approach.

From the previous discourse class, “Contextual Method”, we learned that design methods are contextual, complex, multi-disciplinary, and multi-relational. In this class, the discourses are continued into very personal and collaborative experimentation to understand how a design method begins. Personal and collaborative duality is the character of discursive individuals who will present in this discourse class.
