The Covid-19 Pandemic has revealed how we are totally unprepared to response to such pandemic. It is a final red alert signal that global warming starts to become irreversible. There is an urgency to create solutions that are attractive and effective to stop global warming. Henceforth a cross-field think-tank & collaboration needs to be established in order to collaboratively creating sustainable future in smaller slices, one piece at a time. The way we build things is one of the most important to focus at.
Future Fabrication is a method of construction that focuses in the mindset of sustainability. It is a mindset that not just focuses on pure design, but also cross-border integration with nature & technology, making them work in an ecosystem.
Since 2019 as a multidisciplinary design and build studio Accossa has been focused to develop positive impact ecosystem. From Kaldera off-grid eco cabin in Toba Lake to Jakarta First Creative Compound Kumulo, Accossa applies this future fabrication ecosystem for post-pandemic construction. How if we from diverse field collaborate and create new typology of future fabrication. It will be no surprise in the future where construction can be done by growing mushroom? Or when a building itself is an oxygen forest? This is future fabrication.

Albert Arron Pramono graduated from The University of Manchester with a master’s degree in chemical engineering (MEng). He is the founder of ACCOSSA, an ecosystem engineering consultant based in Jakarta, focusing on sustainable development through prefab construction, integrated farming, and food innovation. ACCOSSA has created some distinctive disruption to the lifestyle industry by creating Arumdalu Farm, the Kaldera Nomadic Escape Cabin in Toba Lake, The Light Prayer House in Golf Island, and Food Street in Sedayu.
