Kelas Tracing Our Own Asian Architecture Heritage yang berlangsung Sabtu kemarin, diisi dengan keempat pemateri yang memberikan poin penting untuk menelusuri jejak heritage arsitektur Asia.
M. Cahyo Novianto memaparkan materi seberapa penting peran material kayu, keahlian bertukang, hingga sisi non profan mempengaruhi pembentukan arsitektur tradisional Indonesia.
.
A seminar which took place last Saturday presented four speakers who provided important points in tracing our Asian architectural heritage.
M. Cahyo Novianto explained how the role of wood materials and carpentry skills, as well as the non-profane aspects, could influence the formation of Indonesian traditional architecture. Eka Swadiansa also added that local people’s knowledge of context permeates their environment to form a civilization. However, Titin Fatimah realizes that the formation of culture is so dynamic and easily influenced by social interactions. At the end of the session, Robert Powell shared his journey in writing a book as a reflection on how to retrace our heritage.

Terimakasih.
