We held another session of Bittersweet Memories in Design Experiences featuring Agustinus Sutanto
Agustinus Sutanto was born in Jakarta in 1968. Graduated from Universitas Tarumanagara in 1992, with a final assignment entitled “Rejuvenation of the Jakarta Arts Center, Taman Ismail Marzuki”. After that he continued his master’s degree at University College London (UCL) in 1998. In 2009, he received a PhD from the University of Sheffield. Currently he head of design division, Departemen of architecture, member of building expert assessor team in architecture and urban planning, Principle of studio Graha Akar Karya, and member of Indonesian architects association.
He was won numerous awards including the FIRST PRIZE – New UKI Master Plan Design Competition –
Universitas Kristen Indonesia – 2016, FIRST PRIZE – Gili Iyang Master Plan Design Competition, Sumenep,
East Java – Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia – 2014, SECOND PRIZE – Palangka Raya City Center – The Government of
Central Borneo Province – 2017.
