Daniel Sandjaja graduated from Tarumanagara University. In 1995, he started his career as an architect at Grahacipta Hadiprana, in 1997. He worked as a site architect for Kerry Hill Architect. This one experience made him realize the importance of trees and landscapes. He said that he had been moving a lot in search of a perfect home after he married.
