Bittersweet Memories in Design Experience- Episode 48

Hi, Restless Spirit!
We are holding another session of Bittersweet Memories, this time focusing on Entrepreneurship and Self-development. The speaker in the coming session is Adjie Negara, one of the founders of KIND, a firm currently engaged in architecture, interior design, and urban design. KIND started as an “experiment” and design collaboration between the founders when each of them were still working separately. After awarded 1st Place Design Competition for Master Plan of Masjid Sriwijaya, Palembang, KIND was established in 2011 and has won more prestigious competition since then, such as 1st Place Design Competition for Dewadaru Airport Karimun Jawa and 1st Place of Ruang Terbuka Hijau Depok Competition.

Adjie Negara will share his knowledge and experience in starting as well as maintaining a design firm. Focusing their design around people as users and upholding the value of collaboration, the session will also expand on the relationship between clients and designer, as well as the relationship between architects, engineers, and economists together in achieving new ideas for built environment.
